Will X. Uly (Will Actually)

Will X. Uly (pronounced "Will Actually") is an award-winning drag and burlesque performer based out of Madison, WI. He got his start in the San Francisco Bay Area, performing burlesque and pole dance as DeeDee Queen. He taught burlesque as the head of the Silicon Valley Burlesque Academy and co-produced scripted theatrical burlesque shows with Curtains Cabaret. He holds multiple titles, including Mr. FIVE Nightclub 2021, the 2019 “Leading Man” of the Hollywood Burlesque Festival and the 2018 winner of the San Francisco Drag King Contest, as well as medals through the California and Wisconsin Burlypicks. Will’s style is part comedy, part exaggeratedly toxic masculinity. He incorporates chair acrobatics, lip sync, veils/fans, and, sometimes, giant hot dog buns and silly string into his acts. He also teaches accessible chair dance and an intermediate chair acrobatics workshop called “crotch-to-air chair tricks” at events like Burlycon and the Hollywood Burlesque Festival. He has chair danced from Anchorage to Amsterdam, and he’s coming all the way from his mother’s basement to mansplain boylesque to you!
