For Umbra, Burlesque is a celebration of agency, and a reclamation of power. Their art revolves around embracing and reveling in the diverse facets of queerness and unabashedly expressing sensuality.

While burlesque might be a new but dominating force in Umbra’s life, performance and dance are no strangers to her.

Drawing from a rich background in musical theatre, swing, and grinding on strangers at 3am on the d-floor, every grind and swivel will make you cross your legs just that little bit tighter.
