Theda Beryl

Theda began her performing arts journey by belly dancing in her living room in 2009- while this was mostly for exercise, her moves did get the attention of a belly dance troupe later in 2016 when she took a class at Comic Con of all places- Theda had the chance to join this troupe then, but life was too busy to add a traveling performer schedule on top of a full time job and college classes, so sadly Theda couldn't take it. Life became about wedding planning and graduating until COVID hit; the wedding happened but college didn't work out the way she had hoped. By 2022, Theda was lost and looking for a new purpose. In 2023, a small cabaret opened in her hometown, and she revisited the idea of dancing. Theda began go-going for the club, then was asked multiple times to join the budding burlesque troupe- while there was a learning curve for sure, Theda fell in love with the art of the tease regardless. The cabaret eventually fell apart, leaving Theda lost yet again. Theda took this time to take dance classes, build up her burly wardrobe, and learn the fine art of stoning costumes. In 2024, Theda finally got back into performing, and now performs with the 926 Bar and Grill troupe in Tallahassee, FL.
