Sorpresa Sensual

Sorpresa Sensual (SEN-SOO-AL) is Toronto’s They/Them Mami who will have their audiences questioning what team they play for.

Sorpresa’s performances entail “strip storytelling” that play with the 60s & 70s eras, telenovelas, gender archetypes, and most importantly, seducing their spectators. 

Sorpresa also interview burlesque performers in the online video series called, “Burly Bites,” an online archival video series that aims to bring a “bite” of burlesque history and storytelling into the online sphere. Run alongside fellow burlesque performer, videographer and editor, Cara De Melo.
