In 2013, Miss V Haven posted a call for stage kittens for a show she was hosting that evening. Moxie had tickets to attend and support her friend, but saw the post and volunteered! Then, she opened a new tab to Google what a "stage kitten" was, and picked out an outfit and a new name. It's been glitter and rhinestones ever since! She quickly became a regular kitten, and then local stage manager for the Ruby Revue at House of Blues, while continuing to attend and support shows produced by Dem Damn Dames, Slow Burn Burlesque, and others. Moxie has kittened and/or stage managed several festivals in Houston and Dallas. After RR disbanded, Moxie started working in the tech booth at Numbers Nightclub for the Dem Damn Dames. Under Tifa Tittlywinks's tutelage, she also started developing and performing classic and nerdlesque acts. With a passion for creation and a heart full of ADHD-fueled ambition, Moxie co-produced her first (and sold-out!) show in January of 2026 -- Taverns & Tassels: A Day of Tabletop Gaming & A Night of Natural 20s. She's also a certified ASL interpreter who regularly provides accessibility at Texas Burlesque Festival and the Texas Renaissance Festival. While she doesn't hit the stage often to perform, she has a deep and long-standing love for the industry and community, and spends as much time as she can in audiences, bringing friends and new fans to shows all over the country. 💜
