Miz Melancholy

Miz Mel is a Seattleite born and raised. She is a queer, abolitionist, educator, climate scientist and performance artist. Working at the intersections of art, sensuality, and empathy, Miz Mel strives to create artistic experiences which draw herself and audience members closer to their own humanity and authenticity by honoring the full spectrum of human experience and emotion, especially the hard stuff. When this Emo Princess of Darkness takes the stage be ready to be uncomfortably confused about whether you should laugh, cry or hoot and holler. She suggests you choose all of the above.
