Welcome to my world, I am Miss Betty Pain, a multidisciplinary performer and costume maker who thrives on the unexpected. My performances are a fusion of styles, predominantly neo-burlesque, with each act crafted to challenge and delight.

Inspired by the legendary starts of Mexican Cinema, like Tongolele, Rosy Mendez, the indomitable Maria Felix, but also influenced by US stars like bombshells Bettie Page and Gay Dawn. My burlesque journey began three years ago, and since then, I’ve had the honor of performing in Tijuana, Mexicali, and Ensenada, leaving my mark at the Tijuana’s Burlesque and Cabaret Festival (BuCa Fest) in 2022 and 2023.

My most precious act is a tribute to the women in my family accompanied by music of legendary Mexican singer Juan Gabriel. It’s more than just a performance; it’s a blend of my personal history, a touch of comedy, a hint of politics, and a whole lot of glam. It’s an act that resonates with my soul and, I hope, with the public too.

I live by the motto, “Compete only with your past self”, a philosophy that drives me to evolve continuously, to push the limits of my artistry, and to redefine what it means to be a burlesque performer for myself.
