Megara Fury

Megara Fury is a multi-talented dancer from the tropic heat of Townsville, North Qld. Known as the Rock Queen of Cabaret, this North QLD born & bred girl started her life of dance in the more classic style as of ballet & modern jazz as a child. She lost touch with the dance world before making her return as an adult. Her stage debut as an adult was in Cabaret before moving to other styles like Brazilian Samba & of course Burlesque. Megara’s burlesque solo debut ended with a cheeky costume malfunction but this hasn’t stopped her from returning to the burlesque stage time & time again, including competing at Burlesque Muse Brisbane 2021 & The Apprentease Awards North QLD 2021. In 2022 she returned to compete at The Apprentease Awards North QLD stage where she took out the Runner Up placing with her GoGo inspired routine. When not performing, Megara teaches burlesque & shares her passion for dance at the Vavoom Room. Megara is famous for her classic rock burlesque routines in which she oozes sass & that badass rock'n'roll attitude.
