Kate Cloud

Kate Cloud is a burlesque entertainer, aerialist and femcee who has been captivating audiences since 2004. She co-founded Portland Oregon based metal burlesque troupe Sign of the Beast Burlesque in 2010 and their annual event, Metalesque Fest, in 2016. Since 2011 she has co-produced numerous Seattle WA and Portland OR shows including Black Lodge Burlesque, Twin Peaks Dance Party, and Muppets Burlesque. In addition to her stage career she is a burlesque and aerial educator specializing in lyra hoop and pole. She is an exhibited photographer and seasoned events producer. She’s also a published author and dedicates her time to chronicling her adventures in stripping and burlesque industries.Since 2017 she has owned and operated Hell Bent For Glitter and has had the pleasure of vending at many festivals, shows and market events. She is an aerial arts coach at Afterglow Aerial Arts and has been a guest instructor at the international burlesque educational convention, Burlycon. She regularly hosts burlesque and movement classes including the popular class “In The Audience Interaction.” You can often find her on the schedule at the world famous Mary’s Club in Portland. She is proud of her remarkable twenty year career in burlesque and strip clubs, which has given her a unique ability to bond with audiences and express her special brand queer femme power.
