Morally grey? Morally black? Redemption arc? It’s unclear where Duke’s ethics lay. Somewhere between chaos, villainy and temptation. “The Devil You Know”, “Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing”, a modern shapeshifter with faustian influence. Duke performs as various caricatures to tempt the weak-willed against their better judgement. Inspiring either feelings of danger and excitement, or a longing to “fix” them; though the results are often the same, a silent exit from an empty stage holding the remnants of chaos and the macabre.
