Dollar Dazzler

They’re alluring, they’re arousing, they’re the Androgynous Altruist of Burlesque. Not content with loving alliteration, Dollar has been giving their affection to audiences since 2012, leaving them craving more of that ardent, passionate burlesque. They’ll leave you catching your breath as they leave it ALL on the stage. They’re Dollar, and They’re going to make you holler, It’s Dollar Dazzler!

Dollar Dazzler (They/Them) has been performing since 2012 and has toured Australia, United States & Canada. In 2014, they began producing Perth’s original Nerdlesque revue “Live! Nerds! Nerds! Nerds!” and also the Burlesque AV Club "Teasing Talkies", with both currently on hiatus. Dollar has taught their “Sensual Study of Burlesque: how to research for your act” to many performers across Australia, and received the honour of teaching the class in 2021 as part of the online portion of Burlycon, the world’s only Burlesque education convention based in Seattle, USA.

In 2022 Dollar obtained their Bachelor’s in History and Anthropology with Curtin University, specializing in queer and striptease history and its impact in Neo-Burlesque spaces. Dollar is consistently working on preserving Australia’s Striptease and Neo-Burlesque History and has in the past volunteered with exhibitions presented by the Australia Burlesque Museum from 2016-2022 across Australia.
