Czarina Etherea

Otherworldly and vaguely threatening, that's the aura Czarina carries high up on her platform heels. This priestess of the arts grew up among the grit of Flint, Michigan, before being whisked away to Hampton Roads by her beloved sailor in 2014. Her grandmother ran a dance studio for 50 years and was an avid sewing enthusiast, so both dancing and crafting have always been part of her life. Sculpting, jewelry craft, and eventually sewing, she gravitated towards costume creation and clothing. With 20 years of sewing under her belt, a dancer's past, and a longtime fascination with exotic dancing, when she found The Feral Showgirls burlesque collective in 2024 she gave herself the stage name Czarina Etherea and never looked back. Burlesque gave her a loving, inspiring community and a place to be her truest self. Her passion is showing up on-theme with one-of-a-kind ensembles, and her joy is showing you her ass with a snarky smile. Some of Czarina's past performances include Edward Scissorhands, Paul Atreides, Art the Clown, Mycelia the Mushroom Centaur, Krampus, Cthulhu, and a myriad of Stoner-themed characters like Stoner Art Teacher, Stoner Road Crew Worker, and Stoner Sloth.
