The 2023 Ebony Burlesque Atlanta pageant winner and beloved FEMcee has graced stages ranging from International Nerdlesque Festival in DC to University of Milwaukee Wisconsin’s annual drag show as the first burlesque performer to do so. As a visionary producer, Afrodisiac has produced shows like Drippin in Melanin series and Hot Thottie Summer that held space for African American and other BIPOC performers to showcase their art for all the other artistry and beauty it has to offer. Afrodisiac moves to create visibility for Black and plus size femmes in the burlesque community. The duality of action and feeling (divine masculine and divine feminine) is seen through the Dora Milaje transforming into royalty. First, the Dora Milaje costume is stripped. Then, reverse burlesque is used to transition into royalty.
