Rouge Studio of Dance
We are a welcoming group of instructors with a diverse range of backgrounds and a breadth of experience in the burlesque and dance scene. All of us at the Rouge Studio of Dance have a strong passion for both performance and supporting our students throughout their learning.
Under the guidance of "the hip-swinging fox with the fiery locks", Randi Rouge, the Rouge Studio of Dance currently offers classes in beginner burlesque, solo and group performance as well as jazz funk, heels and belly dance. We strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you can let loose, have fun, explore your sensuality and build your confidence -- all while improving your physical fitness.
The Rouge Studio of Dance welcomes students of all levels of experience in Ottawa, Toronto, Halifax and Kingston. Our teachers will support you whatever your goals may be -- including providing exciting opportunities to perform for adoring audiences in our regular showcases.

Beginner Burlesque

This beginner class is open to bombshells of ALL shapes & sizes that wish to uncover their inner vixen! Students will learn classic Burlesque movements and a FUN routine in a safe & supportive environment.

Master the art of performance while creating a fun short film with group choreography! Session focuses on musicality, freestyle, facial expressions and presence. Burlesque 2 is open to all who have completed Beginner Burlesque, or have pre-existing burlesque experience and want to up their performance game. Groups are kept small for maximum learning personalized coaching.
Burlesque Level 3

This class is open to all students who have completed Burlesque Level 2, or have previous burlesque experience. Students will learn how to create and build their very own solo number to be presented on stage at the next Rouge Student Showcase! Learn about concept, musicality, costuming, character and choreography in an intimate group setting with guidance for a seasoned burlesque pro! Please note class size is kept small for maximum learning.
