Fancy Fanny, also known as Angelena, began her burlesque journey in 2012, rediscovering movement through adult dance classes before falling in love with the art of tease. Her passion ignited at the Southwest Burlesque Fest in Albuquerque, NM, in 2013, followed by workshops with legends Jo Boobs Weldon and Tiffany Carter, setting the stage for a lifelong dedication to burlesque.

Since then, Fancy Fanny has immersed herself in burlesque education, attending Burlesque Hall of Fame three times, BurlyCon for six consecutive years, and studying under some of the most incredible performers in the community, including Perle Noir, Red Bones, Sweet Pea, Mimi Ma Shuga, Muff Jones, Indigo Blue, Mr. Boy Gorgeous, Peekaboo Pointe, Gaea Lady, Iva Handful, Ms. Bossy Boobs, Foxy Tann, Kitten and Lou, Cherry Bomb, Jacqueline Box, Ruby Mimosa, Jeez Loueez, Kitten de Ville, Isaiah Esquire, Coco Lectric, Jonny Porkpie, Miss Catwings, Jet Noir, Gigi Holliday, Egypt Blaque Knyle, Di Lovely, Asteria Atombomb, Aria Delanoche, LouLouLa Duchesse, Inga, Tito Bonito, Lola Frost, and Jacqueline Hyde—with countless more mentors inspiring her along the way.

Beyond the stage, Fancy Fanny is a passionate pastie artist, creating custom pasties since 2013. Her work has been recognized in the Rosey La Rouge coffee table book The Pastie Project and featured in the Burlesque Hall of Fame Museum exhibit and gift shop, adorning performers across the world. Her style blends classic burlesque with playful camp, bringing glamour, humor, and sensuality to every performance.

Fancy Fanny is also deeply committed to giving back to her community. She is a founding board member of Tassels for Tatas, a Twin Falls-based burlesque showcase and nonprofit raising funds for local breast cancer initiatives. Through this project, she combines her love of burlesque with meaningful community impact, twirling for a cause one tassel at a time.

In addition to her burlesque career, Fancy Fanny is the founder of Wayward Motion Co., a creative movement studio where she blends over a decade of performance experience with certifications in yoga, Pilates, breathwork, and trauma-informed movement. Her classes, including the signature Tease, Twirl & Strut series, focus on stage presence, sensuality, and self-expression while honoring the body as a vessel for healing, power, and play.

With a life fueled by glitter, sequins, and ambition, Fancy Fanny balances her multi-passionate endeavors—running Let’s Wandermore, designing pasties and vintage-inspired accessories, feeding communities through High Country Foods, and building programs that empower youth and adults alike. After years of quietly building her craft and her community, she is now stepping fully into the spotlight.

The next chapter promises a glow-up like no other, and the world is ready to witness it—one tassel twirl at a time.
