BURLESQFIT ACADEMY

Burlesqfit Academy is an Australian dance and fitness studio that empowers women through burlesque-inspired movement. Their 6 week courses were founded in 2012 by studio owner/director Mandy (Mave), the academy now offers a variety of classes in NSW & QLD, Australia, designed to build confidence, foster community, and promote self-expression through dance. In line with their commitment to give back to communities, they utilise their burlesque showcases for fundraising to support Women & Children’s Refuges, and participate in fundraising events for Cancer research and support services, awareness campaigns for women’s health and safety and more. Featured in the Australian Burlesque Festival 2024 & 2025 in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, they also boast being the first ever pre-choreographed, multi-state burlesque school in Australia, and possibly even the world!
